The Weight - Minimum Order 12
Live bait fishing remains the best option when it comes to
catching your limit of fish. Lure fishermen can try to fool the fish all
day long with all kinds of techniques, but put a live shad in front of a
striper and most of the time, he’ll take it! ReAxtion live bait pencil rigs
make it possible for you to let the bait run circles around the bottom of
your weight.
Unlike egg weights that slip over the line and go up and down,
the ReAxtion pencil rig does not slip over your line and therefore will not
cause your line to wear and fray which could potentially cause you to lose
the fish of your life time. How’s it work? Pretty simple. Tie non-swivel end of pencil weight to main
line. Tie leader to swivel end of pencil weight. Voila! You have it rigged.
The original ReAxtion Lure pencil weight has been field tested for several
years. Gary Hart, aka Pancho, used the pencil
weight several years ago. His feedback was that he experienced line twist
with the version he was using. To resolve this problem, the split ring that
attaches the swivel to the pencil weight was increased in size as was the
swivel. Thanks to Pancho, this product
improvement has resolved that issue.
Do the pencil weights make a difference? Ask JD Lyle. He had a
party out fishing one day and was using ReAxtion Lures pencil weights. A
customer “hung” a fish and reeled it to the boat. JD netted the fish for
his customer only to find that the fish had hit the ReAxtion Lures pencil
weight. The weigh had become lodged in the fish’s mouth and the weight
itself had caught the fish. I assume the shad that was on the hook was
re-used.
My good friend Dave Adam, aka Fuzzy, and his son Kyle and I
won a Texas Striper Association tournament on Lake Texoma several years
back. We were using the ReAxtion pencil weight.
Try some out! I think you’ll be pleased with the results.
