The Tail Zingers

I started fishing with similar lures years and years ago. The first time I ever used one of those “similar” lures was on the Sabine River, during March, when the white bass were making their runs before heading back down into Toledo Bend. I caught so many white bass on those lures, there was literally no paint left on them.

While I used a lot of those lures, the one thing that I didn’t exactly warm up to is the fact that the flat lure such doesn’t upright itself as quickly as I thought it should. Additionally, the lure I was using had a treble hook and I always wound up clipping one of the three hooks off because if you’ve ever caught many white bass, getting a treble out of their mouth can be time consuming….and when white bass are popping the surface all around your boat, you want to get that lure back in the water as soon as you can.
